I started my tech career by being a Junior Linux Systems administrator for the SETI project during my junior year at Berkeley. In this role I managed servers, including updates, writing scripts, and keeping everything running smoothly.
By the time I graduated, I had enough Linux/IT experience to land a job as an IT Security Administrator for a bitcoin exchange in downtown SF. There I learned a lot more about the crypto industry, and was in charge of vulnerability management and all IT/Network related matters.
