Project Manager – Software Development & IoT (Remote)

As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial supporting role in assisting the Lead Project Manager to deliver high-quality, timely, and effective projects that align with our digital wellness mission. You will work closely with the Lead PM to help organize, prioritize, and ensure the successful delivery of projects related to our digital health platform.
In this collaborative role, you’ll gain hands-on experience managing cross-functional teams, tracking project timelines, ensuring alignment across departments, and identifying potential project risks. You will also help monitor progress, facilitate communication, and ensure smooth execution across various stages of product and technical development. In addition to operational coordination, this role also requires strong technical communication skills. You will support collaboration between software developers, AI engineers, blockchain developers, and IoT device technicians to ensure all technical workstreams remain aligned with the overall product vision.
You are not expected to be the primary engineer, but you should have enough technical understanding to communicate effectively with development teams, understand technical discussions, identify blockers, and help coordinate the successful integration of software, AI, blockchain, and IoT systems.
 

Key Responsibilities:

Support Project Planning and Coordination:  Assist the Lead PM in the planning, organizing, and coordinating of all project activities, timelines, and resources to ensure that project goals are achieved.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the development, product, and design teams to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and tasks are executed efficiently. Facilitate communication between stakeholders to maintain alignment on project goals.
Technical Team Coordination: Support communication between software developers, AI engineers, blockchain developers, and IoT technicians to ensure all technical workstreams stay aligned.
Requirement Clarification: Assist in converting product goals into actionable technical requirements, user stories, milestones, and task priorities for development teams.
Track Project Progress: Regularly monitor the progress of ongoing projects and report updates to the Lead PM. Track key milestones, deliverables, and potential roadblocks, ensuring that projects stay on track and within scope.
Integration Tracking: Monitor dependencies between the application, backend infrastructure, AI modules, blockchain components, APIs, and IoT device communication systems to help ensure smooth product integration.
Risk Management: Assist the Lead PM in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to project timelines, resources, and deliverables. Help create contingency plans to address unforeseen issues as they arise.
Documentation and Reporting:  Ensure that all project documentation is maintained accurately and up-to-date, including project timelines, meeting notes, and status reports. Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
Resource Management:  Assist in coordinating resources, managing schedules, and ensuring that the right team members are allocated to the right tasks at the right time. Help ensure that project deadlines are met by efficiently utilizing available resources.
Assist in Agile Development: Work with the Lead PM to facilitate Agile processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews. Support the team in maintaining an Agile workflow and help with any necessary adjustments.
 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience:  2-4 years of experience in project management, preferably in a tech or startup environment. Experience assisting in the management of cross-functional teams is a plus.
Technical Understanding: Basic to intermediate understanding of software development, backend systems, APIs, AI features, blockchain, smart contracts, tokenomics, and IoT device workflows.
Project Management Tools: Familiarity with project management software and tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, or Monday.com. Ability to effectively track tasks, deadlines, and progress through these tools.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across all parties.
Cross-Functional Technical Communication: Comfortable facilitating discussions between software engineers, AI developers, blockchain engineers, IoT technicians, product teams, and leadership stakeholders.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Attention to detail is critical in this role to ensure that nothing falls through the cracks.
Problem-Solving Skills:  Ability to identify problems, address obstacles, and propose creative solutions to ensure project success. Be proactive in finding solutions and ensuring smooth project execution.
