Cryptocurrency Community Manager

About the Role

Anthropic is building a new team focused on crypto and Web3, and we’re looking for a founding Cryptocurrency Community Manager to help shape it from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to get in early, define how Anthropic shows up in the crypto space, and build real relationships with the developers, traders, and builders who live in this world every day. We care more about your genuine connection to crypto than a checklist of prior job titles — if you’re active in the space and know it from the inside, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Help launch and grow Anthropic’s first dedicated presence across crypto community channels (Discord, Telegram, X/Twitter, Farcaster, and relevant forums)
• Be the bridge between the crypto community and Anthropic’s internal product, engineering, and policy teams
• Keep a pulse on sentiment, trends, and emerging use cases where AI and blockchain intersect
• Host AMAs, Twitter Spaces, hackathons, and events built for Web3 builders and traders
• Create educational content — guides, threads, tutorials — on using Claude in decentralized applications
• Build relationships with key voices, protocol teams, and DAOs in the space
• Share community insights and sentiment with leadership as the team takes shape
• Help set the tone and norms for the community, in line with Anthropic’s focus on safety and responsible AI

What We’re Looking For

• Real, hands-on experience in crypto — this is the most important qualification. Active traders, long-time holders, DeFi users, NFT collectors, or anyone who’s genuinely spent time in the space are strongly encouraged to apply
• A solid working understanding of how crypto actually works — wallets, exchanges, on-chain activity, major protocols — gained through firsthand use, not just reading about it
• Comfort communicating online and a willingness to be a public voice for a brand entering a new space
• Interest in AI and in Anthropic’s mission

We don’t require a specific degree, years of “community management” job titles, or prior employment at a crypto company. If you’ve traded, built, or participated in crypto communities yourself, that counts for a lot here — we’d rather hire someone who knows the space firsthand and can grow into the role.

Nice to Have

• Experience running or moderating a Discord/Telegram community (professionally or just for fun)
• A following or reputation within crypto Twitter/Farcaster
• Experience with content creation — threads, video, memes done tastefully
• Familiarity with APIs or basic dev concepts, enough to talk shop with builders
