Introducing a dynamic opportunity: the Supply Chain Planner role at Toniiq. This pivotal role is designed for an individual passionate about optimising supply chain processes and driving the business’ success. The Supply Chain Planner will work tirelessly to achieve an in-stock rate on key products that approach 100%, by implementing scalable best practices, expanding the supply chain, and enhancing optimization.

  • 🔍 Conduct risk analysis on ongoing orders to maximise in-stock rates and optimise inventory management

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will collaborate closely with a dedicated 6-person operations team, ensuring seamless communication and coordination. The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including material planning, material flow, procurement, planning, scheduling, cost management, warehouse operations, receiving, and shipping.

More specifically, within this role, you will:

  • 📊Manage Demand and Inventory Planning and be responsible for Order Management
  • 🔄Develop effective MRP supply chain processes, execute through demand planning and schedule management between our 6 co-manufacturers
  • 📈Manage the supply chain management/production infrastructure to deliver reliable finished products, as measured by in-stock rate, at a volume that meets sales forecasts
  • 🔍Conduct supply chain risk analysis and prevention; manage SKU/DC inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and overstock situations, especially during new product launch cycles
  • 💻Be an important user in Odoo.sh; drive system enhancements, check functionalities of the planning tool, and troubleshoot any problems
  • 📦Manage and maintain inventory control, forecasting, distribution, logistics, shipping, and receiving
  • 🏭Oversee and ensure success in production, production planning, and scheduling by closely monitoring the progress of production orders and any foreseen delays
  • 🔧Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the production process

Toniiq understands the importance of thorough training and is committed to providing extensive guidance over a period of 2-4 weeks. During this time, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's systems and processes. Once familiarised, you will gradually transition into planning manufacturing orders, conducting risk analysis on ongoing orders to maximise in-stock rates, and helping maintain and develop the systems, processes, and spreadsheets that power Toniiq's production systems.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you need to have:

Additionally, your background and skills should include:

  • 📈 3+ years of Supply Chain management experience, ideally in the dietary supplements industry
  • 💻 Experience with the operational e-commerce environment in a supply chain and manufacturing context
  • 📊 Deep analytical skills and expertise in data management within Excel and BI tools
  • 🗣️ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • 📌 Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • 🧠 Solid understanding of supply chain concepts, financial acumen, and product knowledge
  • 📚 Experience in a major ERP provider like SAP, JD Edwards, or Netsuite; experience with Odoo.sh is an asset
  • 🎓 Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field is an asset
